Welcome: We welcome
our guests who are visiting with us for the first time. Please join us
for lunch in the Chapel after the noon service.
2.
Church
Members Meeting: Will
take place Today, ( 10/8) after Morning and Noon worship services to confirm
the Elders and Deacons for 2007-2008 Church Council. Please
note that there are two departments that you may not be familiar with:
The Community Service is a ministry for our church to reach out to the
community through different volunteer opportunities and the Resource service
is a new ministry to provide up-to-date ( books, videos etc.) to the congregation
to encourage growth and sharpen various ministry skills.

Father/Daughter Retreat
(Middle School): Will be held
on 10/27-29. Place: Wilderness Ridge. Cost: $ 50 per dad and $ 40 per
daughter. Please take a registration form in the lobby.
4.
Workshops for the Challenged: Every
year, Baylor College of Medicine provides helpful conference workshops
for people and families who are to take care of their mentally or physically
challenged children. This year's conference will be held at Edwin Hornberger
Conference center on November 2-3. For more information, please take a
brochure in the lobby today.

Urbana
06 :
At
Urbana 06 (12/27-31) over 25,000 people will gather to worship God and
hear how He is using people to accomplish his purposes throughout the
world. You can register at www.urbana.org
. Scholarships are available from the HCC Missions Department who
need financial assistance. Please contact Josephine Chan : schan@twu.edu

Voter's Guide: Please
fulfill your obligation as an American citizen to vote on 11/7. For information
on candidates' position, please pick up a voter's guide on the lobby table.

Love & Respect Marriage
Conference : Dr.
Emerson & Sarah Eggerichs will teach the key ingredients for strong
marriages on 11/10-11 at the MET, 13000, Jones Rd. $ 35/person. Register

Concert of Prayer:
Will be held on Friday, 11/17.. Please join brothers and sisters
from different English-speaking fellowship for an evening of prayer and
praise. Please mark your calendars.
