Welcome: We welcome
our guests who are visiting with us for the first time. Please join us
for lunch in the Chapel after the noon service.

Spiritual Journal Notebook:
Is to be used as a tool to help us grow in Christ. This notebook will
enable us to consolidate all of our spiritual material in one place. There
are five sections in this spiritual journal : 1) Prayers Requests 2) Devotions
3) Journaling 4) Sermon notes 5) Other notes. You can see a sample and
purchase a copy for $ 3 in the lobby.

Church Council: Please pray
for the members of the Church Council. May our Lord strengthen them and
give them courage and wisdom to be servant leaders at this church.

Youth Choir:
Will resume rehearsal today (1/7) at 12:45-1:30 pm. For Graded Children
Choirs, please come to rehearsal next Sunday,1/14 at 12:45-1:25 pm. For
details. Please refer to the insert.

Awana Clubs: Awana
resumes this Friday, January 12, at 8 pm in the chapel. New clubbers welcomed!
Registration forms are in the church lobby and cost for new
clubbers is $35 for the Spring semester (must be at least 4 years
old by January 1, 2007). Turn in registration to Room 104C or bring with
you on Friday night. Training for new Awana leaders is today at 1
pm in Rm.513.

Noon Service Worship Team Recruitment: 1)

Chinese Choir members. Brothers and sisters who would like to serve the
Lord with songs in the Chinese service, please come to Rm. 210 at 1:30pm

Parenting
Class: Parents
of Toddlers ( 9 months to 4 years) please
be
informed that a special seven sessions weekly class will begin on Friday,
1/19, from 8 pm – 10 pm. Pastor Fred will be teaching. Please contact

English
Buddy Ministry: English Buddy
ministry will be starting up soon. We will have orientation for all
volunteers on Sunday, 1/21, 2007. Please contact Larry Chu larrylchu@gmail.com
for details.

Family Life Ministry
: Will organize in 2007 two mid-week fellowships every Wednesday morning
at the church: One is “Woman Growing Together” and the other is “Rainbow
Life”. Main purpose of these fellowships is to encourage and help Christians
to grow physically, mentally and spiritually. The first Special Meeting
for “Rainbow Life” will be held on 1/ 31, with Rev. and Mrs. Maak
Hay-Chun as the feature speakers. The first meeting for “Women Growing
Together” will be held on 2/ 7. Details are given in posters and flyers.

AWANA:
Calling AWANA leader uniforms
(green or grey polo shirt) PLEASE come home! We need them for our new
leaders. If you won't serve in AWANA next semester and your T-shirt is
till in good condition, please wash it and bring to the reception desk
or Cindy's office. Thank you.
