1. Welcome: We welcome our guests who are visiting with us for the first time. Please join us for lunch in the Chapel after the noon service.

2. China Bible Teaching Ministry: Please join Brother Stephen Sin of CCI International who will share and introduce this ministry today in Rm 511 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.

3 . Extraordinary Women : This week‘s topic is “Living Beyond Your Circumstance”. Please join us on Wednesday, 5/16 from 9:00am to 11:30am in the Chapel. Since this is the last meeting for this term, we will have pot luck afterwards to celebrate the Mothers' Day.

4 . Chinese School Closing Ceremony: Will be held today at 1:30 pm at the Chapel. Parents and relatives are welcome.

5. Teacher's Training: How can you impact the kingdom of God ? Get involved by sharing God's love to children. Learn ‘how-to' share the gospel, ‘how-to' teach, and other “How to” techniques with training conducted by Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) on Saturday, 5/19, from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Due to scheduling conflict, CEF has asked that the training be moved to Chinese Bible Church , 6025 Sovereign Drive , Houston (1 block from BW8 between Bellaire & Harwin). 6. Chinese School : Is currently enrolling new students for next school year. Please take a registration form at the Chinese School counter on the 2 nd floor. For details, please contact Helen Huang, Principal, at 713-935-9888.

7. Reading Mentoring Program : Is being established at Gordon Elementary School . This is an opportunity to work with a child weekly one on one for an hour until the end of school year on 5/26 to help him/her in reading. If you are interested, please call Karen Nielsen at 713-806-8385 or email her at kjvvlnielsen@yahoo.com . Additional information can be picked up in the lobby.

8. Carol Huang Memorial Scholarship: Applications will be taken for 2007. Five $ 1,000 need-based scholarships will be awarded. Deadline for application is 5/31. Award will be announced in early August. Please pick up an application in the church office or email taiw@hcchome.org.

9. Camp Good News: Children 7-12 can spend a week at Forest Glen and experience the "Ultimate Adventure in Christ!" Camp Good News has 6 different week-long sessions to accommodate your schedules. More information and registration forms available at the Children's
Ministries counter (2nd Floor lobby) and at www.forestglen.org.
