Welcome: We welcome
our guests who are visiting with us for the first time. Please join us
for lunch in the Chapel after the noon service.
2.
Uganda
Orphan Choir: Praise the Lord that
over 400 people came to the concert on Friday night (6/22) to celebrate
as a family of God. The need in Africa is great and we are thankful for
the generosity of those who helped raise approximately $6000 that night
and for our youth who baked and sold cookie to raise almost $ 500. We
also reached out and sponsored 17 children. May our Lord be glorified.

Members Meeting--Affirmation of Calling a Chinese Pastor:
Please be reminded that a
member's meeting will be held next Sunday (7/8) after each worship service
for the congregation to vote. If cannot attend that day, please go to
the church office to cast your vote today after worship
services.

. Lunch with Missionary
Diane Lawrence: Please be at the visitors' table in the
front area of the chapel during lunch at 12:30pm, next Sunday (07/8) if
you would like to be acquainted with Diane and her ministry in E. Asia
.
5.
Church-wide Quarterly Prayer Gathering: Will
be held on 7/11 (Wednesday), at 7:30pm in the Chapel. There will be English,
Mandarin and Cantonese prayer groups. We will be focusing on God's heart
for the world and lifting up our short term missionaries.
6.
Short Term Missions: Please
pray for the safety of all the short term mission teams : 2 teams in Asia,
1 in Macau, 1 in Taiwan and 1 in Philadelphia . May the Lord guide them
and protect them.
7.
Chinese School : Is
currently enrolling new students for next school year. Please take a registration
form at the Chinese School counter on the 2 nd floor. For details, please
contact Helen Huang, Principal, at 713-935-9888.

Discovery /
Impact Summer Camp :
Discovery
camp will be held on 7/29-8/1 for incoming 6 th to 9 th grade student,
cost $195 each person. Impact camp will be on 8/1-8/5 for incoming 10
th grade to senior, cost $240 each person. Brochures & registration
forms are available in the lobby.
