VI Carnival Today: We invite all of you to love and serve the
Mark IV apartment community by joining us for the carvival there this
afternoon from 3:00-5:00 pm.

Awana
Clubs: Registration begins
TODAY, in the lobby after the Noon Service. Clubbers who are 4 years old (by
9/1/07) through 5th grade can join and cost is $60 for the school year.
Register today and receive 10 Awana Shares for your clubber. Opening night
is 9/7 at 8 :00pm in the HCC Fellowship Hall.

Carol Huang Scholarship Awarded: The
following students were awarded the above scholarship: Yuanyuan Li, Gerald
Kim, Agnes Ho, Bless Yee & Yun Chen. Presentation will be held today
at Noon Service.

School
Opening Ceremony: Will
be held on Sunday. 8/26 at 1:30pm in the Chapel. For registrations, please
go to the Chinese School counter on 2 nd floor or contact church office,

Marriage
Conference: Will be
held on Friday, 9/7, from 7:30p.m. to 10p.m. and Saturday 9/8, from 8:45a.m.
to 3:00p.m. in room 210. Our theme is "Building a Healthy Marriage."
Our speaker is Dr. Karl Elkins, a professional Christian counselor.

Chidlren
Sunday School Teachers: The
Children's Ministry keeps growing and we are looking for Sunday School
Teachers for the upcoming year. "Change a life" and join Kid-nection,
contact Alex Tsui (281) 265-2988 if you are interested.
9.
Learn to share your faith:
We will hold EE classes for
the fall (September to November) to equip brothers and sisters who have
the burden to spread the gospel. The Evangelism Department will hold an
open house on Sunday, 8/26 from 12:45 – 1:30 pm in Room 412. If you

Choir Registration & Rehearsal:

Living Hope Counseling Service: Will
have a series of “ Active Communication” Seminar for English, Mandarin
& Cantonese speaking married or engaged couples. Detail fliers can
be obtained from the Family Life Bulletin Board. Spaces are limited.
