Welcome: We welcome
our guests who are visiting with us for the first time. Please join us
for lunch in the Chapel after the n oon service.

Kid-nection: Children's Sunday
School Teachers :
Please make yourself available for the next
two quarters, Winter 2008 and Spring 2009 to teach the love of the Lord
to our 3 to 5 year olds. On behalf of our next generation, thank

3. Children Benediction Ceremony:
The Children Benediction for the Chinese service will be held on 11/23
(Thanksgiving Sunday) while the ceremony for English service will be held
on 11/30. Parents need to take a preparation class on 11/16 at 1:00pm
– 2:00pm in Rm. 514. Please contact church office for application.
Deadline for registration is today .
4. Community Services:
Volunteers
are needed for a sister from Dallas who received Radiation Treatment
at MD Anderson. She needs transportation from 11/10 to 12/8
(except Thanksgiving Holiday), Monday through Friday around 10am
for approximate 2 hours. Volunteer will pick her up from Mark VI apartment
located at 5606 Bissonnet to MD Anderson for round trip. Please
contact

5. Thanksgiving Sunday English Service: During
the Morning Service on 11/23 there will be an extended time for the congregation
to share briefly how God has blessed them. Please prayerfully prepare
for this special service.
6. Chinese School :
Starting this month, we will open
Rm 115 for parents activities such as Tai Chi, Chinese Chess & Ping
Pong etc. Please register at the Chinese school counter on 2 nd Floor.

High School Winter Retreat:
High School students, come join us for our winter retreat - reFresh08.
from12/ 21-24. we will be in Port Aransas with FBCC taking time to rest
and refresh in our walks with Jesus. The cost for this retreat is
$85 and spaces are limited. For more information, please pick up
a registration form at the youth center, or contact David Carter or Stanley
Chang.
8. Cantonese Bible
Conference : Will
be held on 11/ 28-30. The speaker is Pastor Stephen Lee from Canada .
