English Membership

Church Library
Announcement: The Church Library will be closed on 5/3 &
5/10 for clean-up and re-arrangement of books. Volunteers are needed.

Community
Service: Through
the efforts of 3 churches, AACH Job Network: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AACHJobNetwork
has been
set up for the members and friends of WHCC, HCC and FBCC in sharing employment
opportunities. Please pray for this ministry and notify us if you know
any job openings to be posted. Contact Jawching Liu at the church office

Children Benediction
Ceremony: We will have a children
benediction ceremony on 5/10, Mother's Day Sunday. If you want your child
to take part in it, parents need to take the preparation class on 5/3,
1:00-2:00pm in Room 514. For more information, please contact the church
office.

Huang Memorial Scholarship: Applications
will be taken for 2009. Five need-based scholarships will be awarded.
Deadline for application is 6/30. Please pick up an application from the
church office or email taiw@hcchome.org.

Children's
Ministry: As iron sharpens iron, so
one man sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17). Come join us this summer as
we sharpen each other, as we sharpen the kids, and especially as they
sharpen us. Believe it or not, kids can teach us a lot about God, life,
and ourselves. Summer curriculum starts June 7, 2009. If interested in
serving God through the children's ministries, please contact Alex Tsui

Community Project: Will be on
Sat. 5/2, from 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. at Shearn Elementary School , 9802
Stella Link. For those who are helping, please go directly to the
school.

be held Saturday, 5/2, from 9:30am-3:00pm at West Houston Chinese Church
