Welcome:
We welcome our
guests who are visiting with us for the first time. Please join us for
lunch in the Fellowship Hall after the noon service.
2.
Combined
Prayer Meeting: The quarterly church
wide prayer meeting will take place on 10/7 (Wednesday) at 7:30pm. Please
make plans to join us in prayer.
3.
Church
Picnic: Will be held on 10/10(Saturday)
from 11:00 am to 2:00pm at the George Bush Park .
4.
Community Service:
Work day at Shearn Elementary School is held at 9802 Stella
Link Rd on 10/10 (Saturday) from 8:00am-11:00am. Come and partner with
7 other churches in our neighborhood to make an impact in community.
We will be painting and landscaping.
5.
Chinese School
Celebration: The Chinese School is celebrating the Mid-Autumn
Festival today at 3:00pm in the Chapel. All are welcome.
6.
Chinese School PTA: Is
offering adult Tai-Chi class again for parents beginning this afternoon
from 12:30pm to 3:00pm. Please register at the Chinese school counter
on the 2 nd floor.

English
Membership Class: Will be held Sunday,
10/11, in Rm. 513 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm. Those who are interested
please contact Pastor Fred at pastorfred@hcchome.org.

Buddy: Interested in
befriending God's mission but not sure how to get involved? Why not
join English Buddy as a volunteer for this semester?? Meet with your
international friend at least once a month to build relationships and
share your testimony. Occasional holiday parties, and inviting to other
fellowships/ small group recommended. Please contact Chi Chi for more

). We will have an
informational session in October with those interested.

The Father/Son
Retreat: Is coming up 10/ 23-25.
If you are the father of a middle school boy, reserve this date for
a weekend in the woods devoted for you two to be together. Registration
Form and other information are posted up at the Youth Center and also
on the wall of the Front Entrance.
