Welcome:
We welcome
our guests who are visiting with us for the first time. Please join
us for lunch in the Chapel after the noon service.

Membership
Class : The English membership
class will be held today from 12:45pm to 3:45pm in Room 413.

Children's
Ministries: Summer Sunday
School classes are underway! At 11 am, all elementary-age kids (going-to-be
1st through 5th graders) will meet in Room 210 for combined singing
before going to their classes. Parents, please pick up 1st-2nd graders
in Room 208, 3rd-4th graders in Room 201, and 5th graders in Room 219
at 12:15 pm. Pre-schoolers through kindergartners meet in Rooms 203-206.

Townhall Meeting: Pastor
William and Pastor Fred are inviting the English congregation for a
heart to heart talk about the church on Friday, 6/18, at 8:00p.m. in
Rom 115. They will update you with what is going on at the church and
they welcome your observations and concerns.

2011
Deacon Nominations:
Please sign up on the board in the lobby to pray during the month of
June for the nomination process of next year's deacons. More information
on deacon qualifications, open positions, and specific prayer items
is next to the sign-up poster.

Seamen
Ministry: This month's seaman
visitation will be held on 6/19 (Saturday). We will meet in the HCC
parking lot at 1:30pm. Ten people will be admitted. Please contact Yin-Dau
Lu at 713-983-0321 if you are interested to join.

New
Driveway Construction: Due
to miscommunication between the city and the power company, the proposed
construction of the driveway from our parking lot to the new Bellfort
will be delayed pending a speedy resolution of the power line obstruction.
Please do not use the old driveway as an exit. Thank you for your patience.

Youth
Summer Camps: Sign-ups
for youth summer camps is underway. Visit the table in the lobby over
the next few weeks or grab a registration form for more details!
9.
Pastoral
& Office Staff itinerary: Jonathan Ling, Mission trip to
Philadelphia , 6/20-7/3. Karl Cheung , 6/23-25, vacation.
10. Light & Salt
Association: Along
with Chinese American Relief Effort and other Chinese churches in the area,
HCC will join the annual School Supply Drive to help under-privileged students
at Golfcrest Elementary School of Houston. Each $10 donation voucher provides
a student with a semester's use of school supplies. Voucher is available
