1. Welcome: We welcome our guests who are visiting with us for the first time. Please join us for lunch in the Chapel after the noon service.

2.   Carol Huang Scholarship Recipients: The 2010 Scholarship will be awarded to: Lianyi Fan, Yuan Yuan Li, Kevin Zhao, Yin Lin Cheng and Yao Tong, today during the church services.

3.   New paint: We just put a new coat of paint on the walls of the first floor hallway. Thank you for helping us take care of God's house and keep it beautiful. Please ask your children not to deface or otherwise damage any church property.

4.    English Membership Class: Will be on Saturday, 8/21 from 1:00pm -4:00pm at Room 111. If you are interested, please contact Pastor Fred at pastortow@hcchome.org.

5.    Youth Ministry: Is looking for 10-14 Oxygen teachers, 6-12 D-group leaders, 5 CPLs, a Music Servant Team Shepherd, and an Outreach Servant Team Shepherd for the 2010-2011 school year. If you can help, please contact David Carter at davidc@hcchome.org.

6.   Children's Ministry: Kid-nection Children's Ministry ~ Psalm 145:4,5a "One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts. They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty." Pass the baton. Teacher's training will be in August. 7.    HCC + Sister Churches Leadership Conference: Will be held at HCC from 9/17-18. We desire to increase the understanding of the challenges of leadership facing Chinese-American Churches from both cultural and biblical perspectives. Leadership at all levels are encouraged to attend to better understand and provide the opportunity for constructive dialogue and interaction to improve how we resolve our conflicts in our ministries. 8 .    Community Service: Praise the Lord! The HeartGift little boy from China found a host family in our church! The boy and mother are arriving in Houston on 8/22, he will have heart surgery on 9/2. Please pray for them. There are few items they need for their room. If you have any item that you are not using which is in good condition, please let Michelle Lee know if you want to donate or lend. Her email is: michellesunlee@yahoo.com. Items needed:(2) Twin size mattress,(1) Twin size box spring and bed frame, (2) Twin size fitted sheet and pillow case, (2) Blanket,(1) Small Kettle,(1) Fry pan, &(1) Soup pot.
