ADORATION

Who among the gods is like you, O LORD? Who is like you-- majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders?" Exodus 15:11

Praise God for being a majestic, holy, awesome, glorious, and wonder-working God.

Praise the Lord for last weekend's ministries: Bible conference with Pastor Lu, the children had a great time at the Kids Fall Festival, the worship services and messages delivered on both services: resurrection in the morning service and true faith in the noon service

CONFESSION

"I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin." Psalm 38:18

Ask the Spirit to search our heart and reveal any areas of unconfessed sin.

Acknowledge these to the Lord and thank Him for His forgiveness

THANKSGIVING

"Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done."

1 Chronicles 16:8

Thank the Lord for His faithfulness and provision in the life of HCC the last 30 years.

Thank the Lord for our missionaries who are making known among the nations what God is doing.

SUPPLICATION

"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests." Ephesians 6:18

Around the World

1.  Venezuela : Pray for the evangelization of the Amerindian trial people and the threat of government expulsion of missionaries. Pray for more missionaries in urban church planting and Bible teaching ministries and for close and harmonious cooperation of all God's workers. Pray for the needed Bible translation work into the many languages

2.  Pray for the hurricane recovery and rebuilding efforts in Florida , Louisiana and Texas . Pray that God gives wisdom and perseverance to the relief workers and officials. May God grant patience to those waiting to go home.

In Our Church

3.  Pray for the church council budgetary review meeting this weekend. Pray for united vision and wisdom in the discussion.

4.  Praise God for an excellent rehearsal for the orchestra. Pray for the combined choir and orchestra rehearsal of Friday and Saturday for the 30 th anniversary. May we be able to work out all the details so the music would glorify God. Pray that God would protect all the musicians from any physical or spiritual attack.

5.  Pray for the celebration of the 30 th anniversary and the planned competition and fun activities on Saturday. May God provide suitable weather for the Sunday picnic. May He help us grow in love and care through all these events.

6.  Pray for the Friday evangelistic movie meeting. May we be able to invite many non Christian friends to attend and to hear the good news. Pray that many will turn to God and receive Christ as their personal Savior and Lord.

7.  Pray for the 30 th anniversary preparation. Pray that we would prepare our hearts to praise and thank God for His blessings and goodness to HCC. May all the events, activities, the message, scripture selections, video, choir, orchestra, the Lord's Supper and the children's program bring glory to God.

8. Praise God that the Church council has voted unanimously to invite Linh Phan as our outreach minister. May God continue to guide the procedure and decision for Linh.

9.  Pray for the Supreme Court justice replacement. May God provide the right person in His sight.

Individuals

10. Pray for Cheong Wai Lok. He is traveling to China for health care. May God watch over him, increase his faith, and sustain him.

11. Praise God for the birth of Ryan Li to Daniel Liu and Jin Li. May God watch over the new family. May Jin Li have a speedy recovery.

12. Pray that God's peace and presence is felt by those who are physically weak. Pray for Luella Hwang, Dena Chong, Hushan Yang, Stella Law, Dennis Huang, Shirley Huang and Mrs. Ting Chung Liao.

13. Pray for Donghui Li, Shih-Hsin Kao, Mark Epps, Paul Chang, Henry Mui and others who are searching for employment. Pray that their faith in God is strengthened.

14. Pray for the expectant mothers: Feng Liu, Lingzhi Han, Yinglan Liang, Ni Li, Jenny Lew, and Huay Ming Loh. Pray that God watches over them and brings them special joy.
