ADORATION

"Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name. Bring an offering and come before him; worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness." 1 Chronicles 16:29

Adore and worship the Lord for the glory due his name and in the splendor of his holiness.

Praise the Lord for last weekend's ministries: (a) For the enthusiastic response from those who attended the New Year celebrations. Praise God for the opportunities to invite friends and families to our church; (b) For the many who were able to come and worship in spite of poor health; (c) For the music and song presented by Canaan Fellowship during noon worship; (d) For the sermon on being trustworthy stewards for God. May we be faithful with all that God has entrusted to us.

CONFESSION

"For our offenses are many in your sight, and our sins testify against us. Our offenses are ever with us, and we acknowledge our iniquities." Isaiah 59:12

Acknowledge and confess to the Lord our sins committed against God and others, asking for his forgiveness

THANKSGIVING

"Rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."2 Colossians 2:7

Thank the Lord for building us up in him and strengthening our faith. May our lives and lips be overflowing with thankfulness this week.

SUPPLICATION

"Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence." 2 Chronicles 6:19b

Around the World

1. Andorra : Praise God for the first three evangelical churches in this principality located between France and Spain . Pray that the  

   materialism in the land be replaced by finding fulfillment in the Lord and the Gospel.

2. Pray that righteousness and justice will be upheld in the Supreme Court of this nation.

In Our Church and other ministries

3. Pray for Pastor Hsueh and Pastor Tow as they prepare to preach this Sunday. May God give them insight and boldness to deliver His

   word.

4. Pray for the preparation for the Good Friday and Easter services. Pray that God will provide the needed actors for the drama 

    presentation and that He would help us find the appropriate music.

5. Pray for preparation of the church directory. May God help the co-workers as they put together the information and that the process be 

    smooth and efficient.

6. Pray for the co-workers who are making preparations for the Sweetheart Banquet. May God bless them and give them energy, creativity

    and organization.

7.   Pray for the needed child care workers. May God provide the right people to care for our children.

8. Pray for the preparation of the English Retreat. May God use this retreat to draw His children closer to Him and each other.

9. Pray for the needed co-workers for Chinese translation in the office.

10. Pray for the organization and coordination of council members and pastoral staff in the various departments of our church. May the 

      Lord ‘s work be carried out effectively and that it is pleasing to God.

Individuals .

11. Pray for Nancy Huang's mother in Taiwan . She fell and injured herself. Pray for Nancy as she went back to visit and for God's healing 

      and upon her mother.

12. Praise God for the birth of Caroline to Zhao Ming and Susan Song on 1/20. May God bless the family with much joy.

13. Pray for a church member's out-of-state relative, for his health and salvation.

14. Please keep the physically weak, ill and recovering in your prayers: James Chen, Luella Hwang, Dena Chong, Hushan Yang, Stella

      Law, Dennis Huang, Shirley Huang, Mrs. Ting Chung Liao, Grace Chen, Linda Kilbourne, Doris Tam, Mrs. Chen L. Wu, Mrs. Lee

     Ying Wang and Sai Kong. Pray for God's comfort to be upon them and their families.

15. Pray for those who are seeking employment: Shih-Hsin Kao, Katherine Mui, William Liu and others. Pray that God strengthens them

     and gives them patience and perseverance.

16. Pray for the expectings: Yinglan Liang from Cambridge fellowship, Cecilia Lee, Jane Huang, Ariel Huang, Jenny Lew, Susana Lau, 

      Kelly Ma and Huay-Ming Loh. Pray that they experience joy in God everyday.
