ADORATION

"I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High." Psalm 9:2

Praise and rejoice in the Lord for being our Most High God, creator of the heavens and earth and giver of life

Praise the Lord for last weekend's ministries in worship, youth, children, seniors and all the fellowships groups.

CONFESSION

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9

Confess to God our sins of self-reliance, self-sufficiency, and selfishness, putting ourselves first before coming to God.

Thank him for his forgiveness and for purifying us from our unrighteousness and sinfulness.

THANKSGIVING

"Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever." Psalm 107:1

Thank the Lord for his goodness and unconditional love in our lives, especially his great love in sending his Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins.

Thank the Lord for Pastor Hsueh and Pastor Huang in delivering His message in the worship services. We are thankful for His words to nourish our souls.

Thanks to the Lord for giving Pastor Tow time to work on his dissertation. We praise the Lord for Pastor Tow's faithfulness and servant heart to God's Kingdom.

Give thanks to the Lord for the council meeting last week. Thank the Lord for initiating the call to us to

serve His family.

Around the World

1. British Virgin Islands : Pray for local Christians and their witness to tourists from around the world. Pray for a Christian lifestyle that is   

    accordance with their faith and that they have a vision for the lost locally and globally.

2. Pray for Tim Chang, one of the missionaries serving in Asia Pray that he will have the wisdom and strength to do well and effective in this  

    ministry. Remember in your prayer Tom Fox, a Christian peacemaker who died in Iraq . His life and death are a testimony to the truth of  Jesus' gospel and let it be a challenge to all who follow Christ.

4. Pray for Palm Sunday (Passion Sunday) on April 9 and the Graded choir song presentation. Pray for the preparation of Good Friday 

    and the various instrumental ensemble, handbell choir and drama presentation; pray also for the Youth, Adult and handbell choirs, the

    orchestra and message on Easter Sunday. Pray that we prepare our hearts to remember the suffering, death and resurrection of Christ.

5. Pray for God's guidance and provision of needed assistants/intern in the summer for the music worship, Chinese, and youth ministries. 

    Pray for the children's ministry and the preparation for the summer program.

6. Pray for the Intervarsity Spring Break projects this week. Pray for the students who are visiting an orphanage in Mexico and rebuilding 

    projects in New Orleans . Pray that the students would see Jesus, know Him more, and gain a greater understanding of His purpose for 

    the world.

7. Pray for the brothers and sisters who will be introduced as new members of HCC: Linwen Lee, Eric Chang, Ling Chang, Jane Zhou He,  Li-Hung Kuo, Elaine Kuo, Jifang Yang and Yong Quan Liang. Thank God for their new commitment to be part of our church family.

8. Pray for the English retreat preparation. May God grant extra measure of strength to the co-workers as they attend to the details of the 

    retreat. Pray that God grant insight to the speaker, Pastor Steve Meek and that he will connect to those who attend.

Individuals

9. Pray for family time during Spring break. May God protect them in their travels, grant them rest and enjoyment.

10. Pray for David Qin, the son of Chun-Lin Qin who suffers from seizures and has been hospitalized. May God have special mercy on the  family.

11. Pray for the physically weak and those who are recovering: Stella Law, Luella Hwang, Hushan Yang, Dennis Huang, Shirley Huang, 

      Mrs. Ting Chung Liao, Grace Chen, Doris Tam, Mrs. Chen L. Wu, Mrs. Lee Ying Wang, Kin Tung, Sai Kong, and James Howard's 

     father. Pray that they experience God's presence and His grace even in their illness.

13. Pray for the family of William Huang, a former member of HCC, who died this week. Pray that God comforts his wife, Lena and  

      children, and his brother who was also a member.

14. Continue to pray for those who are seeking employment: Shih-Hsin Kao, Katherine Mui, and others. Pray that their faith will sustain 

      them through difficult times.

15. Pray for the office operation at HCC. May God provide the needed co-workers for translation work.

15. Pray for the families with newborn babies. May they fully enjoy their little ones. Pray for good health of the expectant mothers: Kelly Ma, Cecelia Lee, Ariel Huang, and Susanna Lau.
