ADORATION

"Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel , because he has come and has redeemed his people." Luke 1:68

Praise God for coming into the world through his Son Jesus and redeeming us from our sin.

Praise the Lord for last weekend's ministries: (1) Sunday worship. May God's word continue to dwell in our hearts and help us grow in Christ; (2) Praise God for the new members of HCC. May God bless them and use them as they grow in their new spiritual home.

CONFESSION

"Therefore confess your sins to each other..." James 5:16a

During this Lenten season, let us confess our sins of attachment to the things in life. May we realign our attachment to and dependence on God as the source of life.

THANKSGIVING

"Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the

kingdom of light." Colossians 1:12

Thank the Father, that through the work of the Son, we are now heirs in his kingdom.

Thank the Lord for the many blessings he has given to us, our families, and our church.

SUPPLICATION

"...and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." James 5:16b

Around the World

1. The Cayman Islands: Pray that the government and people might hold fast to Christian faith in this Caribbean territory where wealth and 

    its financial system attract much criminal activities. Pray that Christians may live exemplary lives and that their wealth be used to extend  

    God's kingdom.

2. Pray for new Christians under persecution in the Muslim countries. May God protect them, guide them and use them tremendously to 

    further His Kingdom.

Our Church and Other Ministries

3. Pray for Pastor Doug Lew and Minister Mou as they prepare for the pulpit ministry and speak this Sunday. May God use them mightily 

    to communicate His Words.

4. Thanks be to God for families who had a great time relaxing, traveling and having students back home during the Spring break. Thank 

    God for His protection.

5. Pray for God's guidance and provision of needed assistants/intern in the summer for worship, music, youth and Chinese ministries. 

    Pray  that God brings the right people.

6. Praise God for the new candidates for baptism this Sunday: Xin Wang, Min Liang, Cherie Lai, Quan Lin, Xiaofeng Tao, Xiao Qi Li, 

    Zhemin Tan, Xin Wei He, and Min Ying Lee. Pray that God prepare their hearts and strengthen their faith and that they continue to 

    grow in God's word.

7. Pray for the preparation of publicity, program, printing, audio, and visual for the special meetings on Palm Sunday, Good Friday and 

    Easter.

8. Pray for the English retreat on 3/24-26 and for the speaker, Steve Meek. May Holy Spirit speak to him and that he will be able to 

    connect with the attendees. Pray that all the co-workers find laboring for the Lord a joy.

9. Pray for the graded children's choirs, handbells, Easter choir, Youth choir, instrumental ensembles, orchestra and drama team as they 

    prepare for services on 4/9, 14 and 16. Pray that they will be united as

10.Pray for the family mission trip to New Orleans . May God prepare the right people to join.

11. Pray for the Family Nite on 3/31. May God bless the evening with much fun and fellowship.

Individuals

12.Pray for Kelly Au and Paul Wolf who were married on 3/18. May God bless their marriage and use them to

     glorify Him.

13. Pray for Peng Ge whose wife will be coming to Houston this week. May God provide their needs and help them in their adjustment 

      to  their new lives together.

14. Pray for the physically weak and those who are recovering: Stella Law, Luella Hwang, Hushan Yang, Dennis Huang, Shirley Huang, 

      Mrs. Ting Chung Liao, Grace Chen, Doris Tam, Mrs. Chen L. Wu, Mrs. Lee Ying Wang, Kin Tung, Sai Kong, James Liu, May 

      Cheong, David Qin and James Howard's father. Pray that God strengthens them and brings them comfort and edurance.

15. Continue to pray for those who are seeking employment: Shih-Hsin Kao, Katherine Mui, and others. Pray that their faith will sustain 

     them through difficult times.

16. Pray for the office operation at HCC. May God provide the needed co-workers for translation work.

17. Pray for the families with newborn babies. May they fully enjoy their little ones. Pray for protection and nurture of the gift of life to the

      expectant mothers: Kelly Ma, Cecelia Lee, Ariel Huang, and Susanna Lau
