ADORATION

"I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips." Psalm 34:1

Praise and worship the Lord for who He is and all that He has done in our lives, in our church, and around the world.

Praise the Lord for his faithfulness and goodness in last weekend's ministries : Sermon on God loving and compassionate Disciples and Growing in the community; the sharing of Sarah from Compassion International; Q and A session on the gospel of Judas and the membership voting to confirm the ordination of Minister Tao Mou.

CONFESSION

"I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin." Psalm 38:18

Confess to the Lord our sins and iniquities and thank him for his forgiveness in our lives.

THANKSGIVING

“Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples.”

I Chronicles 16:8.

Thank the Lord for his forgiveness, and His patience with us. Offer thanks to God for his abounding, extravagant and unconditional love for us.

SUPPLICATION

Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven." Matthew 18:19

Around the World

1. State of Eritrea : A country along the red Sea has been devastated by 30 years of war with Ethiopia and neighboring countries. Eritrea basic has freedom of religion, but with the fine balance between the Muslim and Christian halves of the population with some restrictions. Pray for the maturing of churches and the training of leaders for the expansion of the evangelical churches and witnesses.

2. Pray for the climbing gasoline prices. May it be brought under control.

Our Church and Other Ministries

3. Pray for Pastor Hsueh as he prepares to preach this Sunday in both services.

4. Pray for the preparation of Houston CityFest in October. Pray for the Friendship Evangelism Training on May 6 and commitment to pray for those who need to know Jesus Christ.

5. Pray for Kit Ling and Jerry Swenson's ministry. Praise God for an elderly lady who accepted Christ. May God watch over her as she grows in her faith.

6.   Pray for the visiting parents from overseas. May the families have an enjoyable time of reunion. May they experience the power of the gospel through the lives of the believers of Christ.

7.   Pray for the planning of the summer program and recruitment of helpers in the children's ministry. Pray that many will respond to God's calling to minister to the children.

8. Pray for the planning and promotion of HCC Music night on 6/30. Pray that many will be able to participate. May God be greatly lifted up, His people be united through sharing in music and fellowship. May God reveal His will to us as we seek for a mission project or organization to support.

9. Pray fro the promotion and preparation of the youth camps. May our youth be able to have a good time of learning and growing.

10. Pray for the 2006 Reynosa Mission Trip. Pray that many will respond to God's calling in joining the mission trip and support the trip through prayer and finance.

Individuals

11. Pray for Liang Zhang, brother of Michelle Zhang. May he turn to God from his despair and depression. May God give him purpose and meaning in life.

12. Pray for SauLing, Kin Ming Kwan and little Samuel as they prepare to move to Hong Kong . May God bless and direct their path.

13. Pray for the Mark VI Apartment ministry. We are in need of two teachers for English as a Second Language class for the summer. Pray that we recognize and seize the opportunity to spread the gospel.

14. Pray for the physically weak and those who are recovering: Stella Law Smither, Luella Hwang, Hushan Yang, Dennis Huang, Shirley Huang, Mrs. Ting Chung Liao, Grace Chen, Doris Tam, Mrs. Chen L. Wu, Mrs. Lee Ying Wang, Huifeng Liu and Jun Xiu's daughter, Helen, James Chen, Yang-Cheng Tsu Sung, mother in law of Jennifer Yang, mother of Andy Au, Sammy Yee, Liang Zhang and David Qin.

15. Continue to pray for those who are seeking employment: Shih-Hsin Kao, Katherine Mui, and others. Pray that God strengthens their faith and grant them patience.

16. Pray for the health of the expectant mothers and their babies: Kelly Ma, Cecelia Lee, Hong Ling, Hong Zhang, Yaxia Zou, Yujing Li, Yen Kong and Ariel Huang. Pray for patience and joy as they wait.
