ADORATION

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort.

II Corinthian 1:3

CONFESSION

I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Psalm 32:5

We confess to the Lord our sins and misdeeds and ask for His forgiveness.

THANKSGIVING

Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with

songs of praise! Psalm 95:2

Thank God for His love and forgiveness in answering our prayers and praise Him for being the faithful God

that He is.

SUPPLICATION

Let my plea come before you; deliver me according to your word. Psalm 119:170

Around the World

1. Republic of Iceland : The majority of Icelanders are only nominally Christian and many are involved with New Age ideologies, the occult and similar practices. Pray for church planting in Iceland and especially for the university students where indifference is widespread.

2. Pray for those who suffer from the recent flooding. May they receive proper assistance and compensation. Pray that they be restored efficiently and speedily.

Our Church and Other Ministries

3. Pray for Pastor Hsueh and Pastor Tow as they prepare to deliver the Sunday message this Sunday.

4. Pray for missionary sharing by Diane Lawrence this Sunday.

5. Pray for the brothers and sister in short term mission May they stay strong and healthy spiritually and physically. May they be sensitive to the Holy Spirit in carrying out the ministry. Pray for their safety, health, wisdom and strength.

6. Pray for The Da Vinci Code Q and A on Sunday, 6/25. May God use this meeting to build up our faith.

7. Pray for the dress rehearsal for the 6/30 Music Night presentations. May God grant wisdom, patience and unity for all participants.

8. Pray for the two weddings to be held on Saturday, 6/24. Kenneth Chung and Jennifer Lan and a couple from CBC will be married. May God guide the logistics and bless the two couples as they make the covenant to each other.

9. Pray for the audio upgrade in the chapel. Pray for God's blessing for James Lee as He uses James to help us to improve the audio and visual ministry this summer.

10. Pray for our building usage and facility plan. May God grant our leaders wisdom and insight in the planning for the future.

Individuals

11. Pray for the families who have recently lost loved ones: C.K. Wong, Chih-Hsiuin Chang, David Wang, Charlotte Sim, Stella Law Smither and Robert Chiu's grandfather. May God's comfort and guidance be upon them. May they experience God's comfort and presence in their time of grieves.

12. Pray for Luella Hwang who has been hospitalized for complication from cancer. May God strengthens her faith and ease her pain. Pray for Yang-Chang Tsu Sung, the mother- in- law of Jennifer Tang. She is having some complications from her eye surgery. Pray for her healing and quick recovery.

13. Pray for the family of Hui Song of the Mandarin Students fellowship. He and his family were involved in an automobile accident last week when they moved to Houston . The vehicle was a total lost. They lost much of their belongings. Thanks be to the Lord that they suffered only minor physical injuries. May God heals them and provides for their needs.

14. Pray that God grants mercy and courage to those who are physically weak: Sammy Yee, Hushan Yang, Dennis Huang, Shirley Huang, Mrs. Ting Chung Liao, Grace Chen, Doris Tam, Mrs. Lee Ying Wang, Huifeng Liu and Jun Xiu's daughter, Helen, James Chen, Liang Zhang, and David Qin.

15. Continue to pray for those who are seeking employment: Shih-Hsin Kao, Feng Feng Sun and others. Pray that they will obey to the will of the Lord as He governs all.

16. Pray for baby girl Meredith Avery born to Stu and Geneva Chan on 6/16 and grandson Braeden of Elder Jarvis and Elaine Chan who was born on 6/18. Praise the Lord for healthy mothers and babies. Continue to pray for the expectant mothers: Hong Zhang, Yaxia Zou, Yujing Li, Yen Kong, Emay Yeng, Alice Ho, Stephanie Chiang , and Holly Hsyung. Pray for their good heath and good spirit.

17. Pray for the parents with newborns. May God grant them extra strength and wisdom to care for the babies and to adjust to a new schedule.
