ADORATION

I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalm 34:1

Father, forgive us for our sins are great and they are committed often.

Thanksgiving

The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song

I give thanks to him. Psalm 28:7

We thank God for He is our strength and our protector. May we trust in Him completely. .

SUPPLICATION

Be not so terribly angry, O Lord, and remember not iniquity forever. Behold, please look, we are all

your people. Isaiah 64:9

Around the World

1. State of Brunei : is consisted of two small enclaves in East Malaysia . No foreign Christian workers are permitted and Muslims aim for an Islamic state by 2020. Most Christians are local tribal people and Chinese nationals. No Bibles or Christian literature may be imported legally. Even Christian schools must give instruction on Islam alone. Pray for unity, courage and a wise boldness in the face of pressure, provision of mature Christian leaders and teachers of the Word

2. Pray for those affected by tornado and severe storms in Florida last week and flooding in Indonesia . May God comfort and meet their needs.

3. Pray that the war in Iraq will soon come to an end. May God protect our soldiers and their families. Pray that God will comfort those who have lost loved ones and for the recovery and rehabilitation of the injured.

Our Church and Other Ministries

4. Praise God for answering our prayers: (a) that many came to hear Rev. and Mrs. Maak on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. (b) The song presentations of the Youth and noon choirs in the worship services; (c) the message by Pastor Hsueh and Pastor Tow ; (d) the partaking of the Lord's Supper.

5.   Remember the brothers and sisters who made the decision to accept Christ in recent weeks. Pray that many of us are willing to follow up to care and help them continue to grow in the Lord.

6.   Pray for Lent and Easter Season preparations. May God grant insight and provide needed resources to Pastor Ling. Pray that God will provide co-workers in music and worhip.

7. Pray for the upcoming Solitude Retreat on 2/10. May God provide suitable weather, travel safety and great time for reflection and renewal.

8. Pray for the Chinese New Year preparation. May there be a time for fellowship among members from various fellowship groups and a time for outreach to seekers, families and friends.

9. Pray for the Evangelistic Talent Show on Friday, 3/2. May the gospel message be clearly presented and that many seekers attend. May God provide co-workers.

10. Pray for the monthly Council meeting on Saturday, 2/10. May God grant wisdom, faith and unity to council members as they plan and lead this church.

11. Pray for Stanley Chang, our youth intern. May God bless and use him as an example in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity.

12. Pray for the Wednesday mid-week ministry with women and mature adults. May God grant strength and vision to all the co-workers.

Individuals

10. Pray for the family of Ting Chung Liao who went to be with the Lord on 2/1. May God comfort them, especially his wife, Chung-Yu. May God guide the preparation and memorial service on 2/10.

11. Pray for Xin ShuQing Geng and her scheduled operation of gastric cancer on 2/13. Pray that God will heal her completely and that her children can arrive safely from abroad. Pray for peace and faith to those recuperating or under treatment: Iris Li, Ching-Ting Liao , Lingwen Li's mother, Jian Huang's mother, Cherng Ching Huang's father, Josephine Chan's mother , Ding Qin Shen's father-in-law, Xuedong Dai and his mother, Cynthia Chan's father, JoAnna Quan's father, Ed Fong's grandfather, Aimee Yuan (eye treatment), Shirley Huang (dialysis), Ting Liang, Xuedong Dai (back problem), Liang Zhang, Hushan Yang, Lee Ying Wang, Julia Xu Liu (under treatment), Eddie Tong, Siu-Fong Ng (Klairon Tang's mother) and Jing Li.

12. May God open doors for Weilie Pang and grant an extra measure of patience while she waits for job opportunities.

13. Pray for Jian Jun Ni, Bo Xu and their new addition, Joshua. May God grant good health to and smooth adjustment of the new family. Continue to pray for the expectant mothers: Connie Chau, Ingrid Song, Haoling Wang (Diao) Linzhi Han, Rose He, Pei-chi Chung Hsueh, Sabrina Hsueh and Shuangyan Wang.
