ADORATION

And one called to another and said: “ Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!” Isaiah 6:3

We give our praise to the Lord who is holy, perfect, righteous and pure.

CONFESSION

Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin! Psalm 51:2

Too often we forget that our lives are to be lived for God's glory. We failed to glorify our Lord as his witness and words. Forgive us for thinking too much of ourselves and not enough of your greatness.

THANKSGIVING

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15

Let us thank our Lord for the peace that He gives us and that the peace

remains in us always.

SUPPLICATION

The Lord has heard my plea; the Lord accepts my prayer. Psalm 6:9

Around the World

1. Burkina Faso in Africa : is one of the world's poorest countries with over 70 distinct ethno-linguistic people groups in four major language families. Currently, 20 plus languages are being translated but the work of literacy of the population is essential so the people can read the translated Bible. The missionaries are welcome and reception to the Gospel is high in this land. Pray for the continuing growth of evangelical churches and trained leaders, for the resources of the churches to meet the needs of the many converted.

2. May the war in Iraq be shortened and casualties and injuries be lessened.

Our Church and Other Ministries

3. Praise God for last week's ministries: (a) the celebration of Chinese New Year last weekend at HCC. We are thankful that families and friends came out and had a great time; (b) the Sunday worship and Pastor Hsueh sharing the message of a community filled with the Holy Spirit. May our lives always be filled and controlled by the Holy Spirit.

4. Pray for the preaching of this week by Pastor Tow and Pastor Mou. May the Lord bless them and use them through the pulpit ministry.

5.   We are preparing for Lent, Good Friday and the Easter season. May God provide the needed insight, resources and co-workers.

6.   Pray for the special meeting on 3/9 with Robert and Christine Wong with the theme: Back to Jerusalem . May God speak through them and for many attendees to be touched.

7. The Junior choir will be presenting 2 songs in both adult services this Sunday. May God use this opportunity to minister to His people.

8. Pray for the Evangelistic Talent Show on Friday, 3/2. May God use all the performers to lift His name. May many seekers be invited, come and touched.

9. Pray for the New Heart Ministries and their recording this week. May God grant the staff and co-workers extra portion of grace and strength.

10. Pray for the English Buddy ministry. May God provide the needed volunteers to partner with those who come to improve and practice speaking English.

Individuals

11. Pray for those awaiting or undergoing treatment: the father of Wai Fan Wong who is very ill. Wai Fan is visiting him in Hong Kong . Pray for his wife Amara who is suffering from a bad headache. May God heal her; James Wang's mother is undergoing cancer treatment. May God strengthen, heal and ease her pain and the side effects of the treatment. Pray for Xin ShuQin Geng and her family. May God grant her strength as she awaits treatment. May God lighten her burden. Pray that her husband, Zili stay strong so that she would not worry about him.

12. Pray for God's constant presence with the physically weak: Iris Li, Ching-Ting Liao , Lingwen Li's mother, Jian Huang's mother, Cherng Ching Huang's father, Josephine Chan's mother , Ding Qin Shen's father-in-law, Xuedong Dai and his mother, Cynthia Chan's father, JoAnna Quan's father, Ed Fong's grandfather, Aimee Yuan (eye treatment), Shirley Huang (dialysis), Ting Liang, Xuedong Dai (back problem), Liang Zhang, Hushan Yang, Lee Ying Wang, Julia Xu Liu (under treatment), Eddie Tong, Siu-Fong Ng (Klairon Tang's mother) and Jing Li.

13. Continue to pray for Weilie Pang and those seeking employment.

14. Praise God for Kwok Fu and Alice Lee who are blessed with a second grandchild, Gabriella Lee. Praise God that mother and baby are healthy. Pray for the expectant mothers: Connie Chau, Ingrid Song, Haoling Wang (Diao) Linzhi Han, Rose He, Pei-Chi Chung Hsueh, Sabrina Hsueh, Shuangyan Wang, Selina Lai and Ellen Wong.

15.   Many brothers and sisters are traveling during the Chinese New Year. May the Lord protect and grant them travel mercies on their return home.
