Blessed be the Lord God of Israel , for he has visited and redeemed his people. Luke 1:68

Pray that we keep our grateful heart to our heavenly father who saved us and for making us strong.

SUPPLICATION

The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. James 5:16b

Around the World

1. China , Macau: is a tiny peninsula and two islands west of Hong Kong . Since the Portugese colony reverted to Chinese rule as a special autonomous region in 1999, it is an important gateway for China 's economic development in the region. Although Macau was the starting point of Protestant missions to China where the first Chinese convert was baptized, the first Chinese Bible translated, yet today it is one of the least discipled communities of Chinese in the world. Macau has become the city of sin with gambling and prostitution run by gangs. Pray that local leaders be raised up to help the Church. May the gospel of Christ change this city. Pray for the unity of churches and leaders, effectiveness of missionaries all to change a sin-filled society.

2. Pray for missionary Mony Tsai whose husband died suddenly last week from tuberculosis meningitis. May God comfort her and grant her strength for the days ahead. Pray for the health of Mony and the children she is caring for and that they would be tested for TB. May God watch over her and co-workers while ministering in an area very sensitive to religion.

3. Pray for the smooth travel and safety of travelers in the Northeast as they are affected by snow storms and other severe weather.

Our Church and Other Ministries

4. Praise God for last week's ministries: (a) worship services with sermons delivered by Pastor Hsueh teaching us where our strength comes from; (b) the song presentation of Caleb Choir to help us offer our praise; (c) a fruitful and meaningful English Retreat.

5. Pray for Pastor Tow and Pastor Mou as they prepare to preach this week. May God grant them wisdom and inspiration.

6. Pray for Minister Cindy Hong as she continues to write the devotional material for the Lenten season. Pray for the Spirit's inspiration and clarity.

7.   Pray for Good Friday and Easter preparations: for individual singers, musicians, choir and the orchestra. May all co-workers be faithful and Spirit-filled. May God guide the logistics with the orchestra in music, the needed orchestra members and the rehearsal schedules.

8.   Pray for the English Baptism and Membership classes on 3/25. May all desiring to join the church be able to attend, acquire a clear grasp of the doctrine and commitment to the truth.

9.   Pray for the English Buddy ministry that the volunteers connect and bond with their buddies.

10. Pray for Carol Wang, one of the seminarians supported by HCC. She requests our prayer for an unending reflection of Jesus' character, a love for God's words and an unfailing grateful heart.
