ADORATION

All the nations you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name. Psalm 86:9

May all the nations, tribes and people come before our Lord to worship Him and glorify His name.

CONFESSION

For your name's sake, O Lord, pardon my guilt, for it is great. Psalm 25:11

We confess to our Lord for all our sins and trespasses. We crave for His forgiveness.

THANKSGIVING

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! Psalm 100:4

Thank God for His blessings of joy in our heart, steadfastness in our steps and hope in all circumstances..

The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. James 5:16b

Around the World

1. Republic of Columbia : the 4 th largest country in South America . Coffee and oil are the main export commodities along with cocaine. The manufacturing and trafficking of cocaine created an atmosphere of lawlessness, terror, crime and violence. However, as sin increases in Columbia , God's grace increases all the more. The church is growing rapidly and God is reaching the lowest and most desperate. Pray for the leadership crisis the church faces as a result of lack of training, political instability and crimes. Pray for unity, courage and faithfulness of missionaries.

2. Pray for God's intervention in the Iraqui war. May God shorten the war and bring peace. Pray for God's comfort to the families and loves ones of the many who died in the war and those recovering from injuries.

Our Church and Other Ministries

3. Praise God for last week's ministries: (a) preaching by Pastor Tow and Pastor Mou; (b) the witnesses and baptism of 18 brothers and sisters.

4. Pray for Pastor Hsueh as he prepares to preach this week. May God grant him enlightenment and wisdom in his preparation. Pray for the Youth choir and their preparation to sing in both services. Remember Pastor Tow as he prepares to preach at Fort Bend Community Church . May God use him to share His words to touch lives.

5. Pray that the Lord will help us stay in tune with Him constantly especially during the Lenten season. May the Holy Spirit help us deal with temptations and give us repentant hearts over any hidden or revealed sins.

6. Pray for the Easter orchestra rehearsal on 3/31, 4/5 and 4/7. May God bless all participants to bring much glory to His name with joy and strength.

7.   Pray for Christians who may have drifted away from church. May we remember them and reach out to the long-time absentees. May God show us how to care for them and restore them.

8.   Pray that God will help us raise up a strong and healthy second generation -- physically, mentally and spiritually. May they be useful men and women in God's Kingdom.

9. Pray for the final preparations of Good Friday and Easter services: (a) Iris Li --- assisting in the Good Friday service design; (b) the office staff as they carry extra work loads; (c) many additional rehearsals; (d) all co-workers to stay strong spiritually and physically.

10. Pray for Jonathan Liu and Gary Ge who are finishing a mission trip. May the Lord grant them travel mercies and quick adjustments to jet lag.

11. Pray for the HCC Health Day on 4/14. May God use the medical professionals to serve our congregation and the community.

13. Pray for Aihua Fellowship and their outing this Saturday. May God provide suitable weather and genuine fellowship in Christ.

Individuals

14. Continue to pray for Mony Tsai. May God's peace and love surround her and the children in her ministry. Pray for God's comfort for Klairon Tang and her family. Her mother, Siu-Fong Ng, passed away on 3/25 in Vancouver . Jian Huang's mother went to be with the Lord in China on March 23. May the Lord grant their family peace in Him.

15. Pray for Mrs. Chin-Chang Judy Huang as she recovers from surgery. Praise God that she is not in pain. Pray that she regains her appetite soon. May God use her life as witness to her children and family members that Jesus Christ is indeed the only true God. Pray for Avis Chan as she recovers from a car accident. May the Lord calm her fears and heal her wounds. May God strengthen her so that she can work at home as she recovers and travel next week.

16. Pray for the brothers and sisters who are physically weak, receiving treatment and recovering: Chin-Chang (Judy) Huang, Zili Geng, Xin ShuQin, You May Lan (Kim Wong 's mother), Amara Wong (headache), James Wang's mother, Ching-Ting Liao , Lingwen Li's mother, Josephine Chan's mother, Ding Qin Shen's father-in-law, Xuedong Dai and his mother, Cynthia Chan's father, JoAnna Quan's father (improving), Ed Fong's grandfather, Aimee Yuan (eye treatment), Shirley Huang (dialysis), Ting Liang, Xuedong Dai (back problem), Liang Zhang, Hushan Yang, Lee Ying Wang, Julia Xu Liu (under treatment), Eddie Tong, Ming-Jer Tsai (Sophia's husband), Issac Chu's nephew, Kevin, and Jing Li. .

17. Continue to pray for Weilie Pang and those seeking employment.

18. Praise God for the birth of baby boy, Timothy, to Limit Huang and Ying-Wen Su on 3/25. Pray for good health of the expectant mothers: Marta Tseng, Haoling Wang (Diao) Linzhi Han, Rose He, Pei-Chi Chung Hsueh, Sabrina Hsueh, Shuangyan Wang, Selina Lai, Ellen Wong , Rita Wei Chang , Limin Luo, Linong Xiu and Sylvia Yung.
