ADORATION

…The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, Exodus 34:6

Lord, we turn from things created to the Creator and entrust in you for you are merciful, and faithfulness. We worship you, serve you in spirit and in truth. You see all and that unto you all hearts are open.

CONFESSION

I confess my iniquity; I am sorry for my sin. Psalm 38:18

Pray that we examine ourselves with diligence and honesty to find out what virtues we are lacking and sin we have committed. We come to our Lord with perfect confidence to tell Him of our griefs and failures. By His grace, we shall find in Him our strength.

THANKSGIVING

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Psalm 107:1

We can only marvel at the blessing He bestows on us day by day. Accept our thanks and praise for all we have.

The Lord is good.

SUPPICATION

Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have given me relief when I was in distress. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer! Psalm 4:1

Around the World

1. Islamic Republic of Iran : A theocratic Islamic republic established in 1979. Shi'a Islam is the state religion. Constitutionally the rights of Jews, Zoroastrians and Christians are guaranteed but closely monitored. All evangelism is forbidden. The legacy of bloodshed, cruelty, injustice, extremism and economic deprivation has discredited the conservative religious leaders and the Islam they promote. The anti-western and anti-Christian propaganda has opened many Muslims to seek alternatives to Islam and are more open to the gospel than ever before. Pray for courage and fortitude under persecution of churches; wisdom, boldness and protection for all in leadership and for the supernatural deliverance and fruitfulness for all Muslim background believers.

2. Pray for the Korean missionaries held hostage by the Taliban in Afghanistan . Pray that they experience God's presence, comfort and peace in the face of danger and death. May the Lord answer our prayers in His time and spare their lives. Also remember their families to find comfort in our Lord.
