Are the More Blessed Ones? Alice Lee
Mr. Wong went to be with the Lord at
the age of 82. Many people attended his funeral and memorial service last
Saturday to remember him and celebrate his life. Some people think that
he was a very blessed one when they learned that God gave him the
grace to accept Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized 5 days
prior to his death.
Indeed, Amazing Grace How Sweet It Is! God miraculously saved him
and blessed him with eternal life. As I had the privilege to walk with
him in the last stage of his life journey, I almost heard him whisper
into my ear, "After I became a Christian …... I didn't have the
opportunity to go to worship God in His House.... I didn't have the chance
to share my faith with others.…Dear all, you are the more
blessed ones --- for you still have ample opportunities to do so..."
The
Bible reminds us, “Remember your creator in the days of your youth...”
(Ecclesiastes. 12:1)
Jesus
said, “As long as it is day, we must do the work of Him who sent
me. Night is coming, when no one can work.” (John 9: 4)
