Black
Friday & Thanksgiving

Friday! Now I have always heard about Black Friday and all their sales
but I never thought about going out shopping at 5 in the morning. That's
just crazy! But this year I was crazy enough to go camp out at Circuit
City at 6:30pm Thanksgiving day. It was definitely an experience I won't
forget. We wave-boarded (that one skateboard looking thing you see the
youth riding on in the back parking lot all the time), played a full
game of touch football in the parking, made 20 trips to the Exxon, and
just hung out in the company of old friends. After 10½ hours
of hanging out we prepared for the rush! It was the rush of grabbing
everything that you want in the store before everyone else takes what
you want. But that was the problem for me. While everyone else had a
purpose of being there, they knew what they wanted buy. They knew they
wanted a laptop so they ran to the laptop section, or if it was a TV
they wanted then they ran to the TVs. For me I had no idea what I wanted
to get. I ran around the store with not a clue of what I wanted to buy;
I had no purpose, I had nowhere to go. Now I have to ask you: Is this
how you feel about your life? Are you one that knows your purpose in
this life or are you just running around like a crazy little kid who
doesn't have a clue of where he is going? Have you found out what God
has in stored for your life? Do you know some of the amazing things
that God wants to do through your life? Because let me tell you, there's
no better feeling than to know that God wants to change this world and
He wants you to be a part of that. Now that is a purpose in life I will
hold onto.
