I
am thankful every time I witness the joy and excitement of our short term
mission team when they share with us upon their returned home. I can not
help but notice how they reach out for children and youth. We see their
faces in all the photos and video they brought back. Last week, the Taiwan
short term mission team shared with us how they touched and passed on
God's love to the young people there. Children and youth are precious
and teaching and helping them to connect with the Creator God is very
important. They should be the focus of mission locally or overseas. I
am thankful for the brothers and sisters who faithfully teach the words
of God here at HCC year after year. As the children's Sunday school begins
every school year, we need to recruit teachers to teach God's word. God
not only love for us to pass His love and truth to the children and youth
in far away places, he also loves for us to do the same here in Houston
and at Houston Chinese Church . May God touch many more brothers and sisters
who have the heart to serve this community. Let Gospel spread to the children
and youth that they can become a new generation that loves God.
