Let's
Pray!

For
many years I have been praying for someone, asking the Lord to open doors
to share the good news of Jesus Christ. Last week God answered in an amazing
way, giving me an opportunity to visit and share. During our visit, she
cried out to the Lord and wanted to receive Jesus into her heart to be
her Lord and Master. The power of prayer.
Do
you pray? Do you pray individually or with a group? Does your fellowship
pray together regularly? Do you know HCC provides a weekly prayer guide?
Do you know that you can receive this guide through email or pick up a
printed copy from the church lobby on Sundays?

Samuel 12:23 tells us we sin against the Lord when we fail to pray. James
4:2 says we do not have because we do not ask God. Zechariah 4:6 says
it is “not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord
Almighty.” May the Lord grant us a strong desire to pray. The lyrics
of a simple song goes like this: more prayer, more power; less prayer,
less power; no prayer, no power. The power of prayer. So, let's pray!
