Houston
Chinese Church (HCC) is seeking prospective candidates to fill a pastoral position responsible for planting and leading a church
in Pearland, TX, a suburb community 20 miles south of Houston, where
a fellowship group of about 25-35 people currently meets Friday evenings.
The majority are families with young children. This pastor will work with
and lead the existing group into a full-functioning independent church.
During the initial period of the ministry, the pastor is expected to
assist with several existing ministries at HCC.
| Education: |
- Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree or equivalent from an accredited seminary or divinity school
|
| Experience: |
- 3-5 years of pastoral ministry with life experience in North America
|
| Language Proficiency: |
- Mandarin Chinese (required)
- English (preferred)
|
| Marital Status: |
|
| Character Traits: |
- Integrity in personal life and public ministry
- Exemplary family life
- A serving and shepherding heart
- Capable of persevering during the church planting process
